Tubac is a jewel waiting to be discovered and there is no better place to begin the journey than the Tubac Country Inn. Whether you are a lover of the arts, a birdwatcher or simply a seeker of the peace and quiet of the beautiful Sonora Desert, the Inn provides a perfect home away from home to explore. Whether on foot or in the car, you are centrally located to so much. Or just stay put at the Inn, where accommodations are spacious, clean and appealingly decorated with charming Southwest decor. The rooms open to a porch with comfortable chairs in which to relax with a beverage and enjoy the pretty garden and fountain which draws beautiful bathing birds. When owner, innkeeper, Reagen Bannister says "let me know if there is anything I can do for you." ... she truly means it. She is that rare combination of competence and kindness. Hospitality is the icing on the cake ... once you've tasted it, you'll be back for more!
After having a bad experience in Tucson, Tubac Country Inn was a pleasant surprise. We arrived a few hours early and were welcomed to our suite when we arrived. No hassle. The suite was like coming home. Water, coffee (Tayst) tea and snacks were included for our consumption. No charge! Recommendations for things to do and restaurants were waiting on the table. The owner, Reagan, knows how to do it right! Thanks!
We LOVED staying at the Tubac Inn! Everything was perfect! The room was spotless and bigger than I expected, the beds were very comfy, and the kitchenette worked for all of our needs. Everything was quiet and peaceful, and so close to town. The chairs on the porch were wonderful. It was a nice spot to run into other travelers and get to chat with people a bit. We'll definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed my first stay at Tubac Country Inn. The location is perfect for exploring artistic downtown Tubac. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. My stay was brief, yet memorable.
Very cool and quiet place. Outside seating area was very tranquil and a good place to stargaze. Coffee maker wasn’t working but not the end of the world. We were only in town for 1 night, would come back again to better enjoy Tubac :)
The rooms were clean and comfortable with attention to detail that is hard to find. We enjoyed visiting with friends by the fire pit, the sweet cat who wandered by one evening to check us out, and we loved being so close to everything we wanted to do. The owner personally checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We can hardly wait to return.
Tubac Country Inn is an amazing property that is peaceful, comfortable and just what a weary traveler needs. The rooms are large, well appointed and filled with everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable. Love the filtered water feature in kitchenette, the coffee and snacks. We did not get to meet the proprietors but would love to on our next stay. We were on a nature/birding vacation, hiking all day and wish we could have stayed more nights! We were in four different properties during our journey, but all the stars go to Tubac Country Inn.
The Inn owner embodies hospitality! Vegan-friendly and knowledgeable about the local restaurant scene and surrounding community activities, our group had the best accommodations. The stay inn Tubac was epic!
